About this product
Gironde Flax Sandstone is a beautiful aged tumbled and brushed sandstone in a predominantly light beige / cream, with natural variation in colour and shade between tiles.
The textured, undulating surface adds an authentic natural, rustic style to your space, while improving grip underfoot. It's also extremely durable making it particularly suitable for high traffic areas, such as kitchens, hallways and general living spaces.
As part of our Flagstones range, this large format tile is available in random lengths as well as fixed sizes. The aged appearance helps it sit comfortably in older cottage style properties but the simplicity of its overall appearance can make it look equally good alongside contemporary kitchens and furniture.

Adhesive
White rapid-setting flexible adhesive is recommended. We do not recommend the use of standard setting adhesive with Limestone Tiles.
Sealing
Gironde Flax Sandstone Tiles require sealing during installation. We recommend one coat when the tiles have been laid and are dry before grouting, then one coat after grouting. Consider re-sealing Gironde Flax Sandstone Tiles every 18-24 months.
Grout
We recommend "Almond" with Gironde Flax Tumbled & Brushed Sandstone Tiles. See fixing section for grout options.
Cleaning
Clean with an appropriate stone cleaner wherever possible or non-bleach based household products. “Soft Soap” like Ecover is suitable. Do not use any products with grit that may scratch the tiles.

We deliver throughout the UK except for Northern Ireland.
Deliveries are made on pallets and are ‘kerbside’, meaning the pallets will be offloaded to the nearest safe point of entry to your property. The driver is unable to take the tiles into your house. We can deliver on a day of your choice, which will typically be 2 - 3 working days after your order has been placed. Delivery is charged by the pallet and starts from £35 / pallet. A ‘delivery calculator’ is provided underneath the Order Total once product quantity has been entered.
Somebody must be present on the day of delivery to accept the order - re-delivery charges may apply for failed deliveries.
Free delivery applies to pallets of indoor porcelain & LVT over £500 only. Certain postcodes do not qualify for free delivery and will require an additional delivery charge. Please refer to our delivery page for the full list of effected postcode areas.
