Tile trends can be slow to evolve, often taking their cues from fashion, Pantone’s Colour of the Year and the wider world of interior design. But looking ahead to 2027, there doesn't seem to be one defining colour or look taking centre stage. Instead, we’re seeing interiors become warmer, more personal and increasingly confident in mixing colour texture and pattern.
Earthy colours are deepening, traditional designs are being worked in unexpected ways, and beautifully imperfect surfaces are bringing character back into our homes.
So, from our studio to your home, here are the tile trends 2027 is shaping, and how you can bring them home with confidence.
Earthy, Grounded Colours
Our love affair with colour isn't going anywhere for 2027, but the shades we’re reaching for are defiantly evolving. The soft sages and muted tones of recent years are becoming deeper and earthier, making way for moss greens, chocolate browns, and sun-baked clays.
These soulful colours lend themselves perfectly to metro tiles, that instantly inject sophistication. Think an olive-green kitchen splash back or deep burgundy with warm oak wood effect tiles, and before you know it, your space is sumptuous and inviting.
If you’re not quite ready to commit to a full room of colour, start small. A tiled splashback or fireplace is often all it takes to bring one of these richer shades into your home.

The New Neutrals
Thankfully, I don't think that trusted beige tiles will ever leave our side, but our neutrals are becoming much harder to define. Plaster pinks, soft putties, and chalky creams are beginning to sit alongside the familiar warm beiges we’ve all previously loved; they're not quite pink, not quite brown and certainly not grey!

This softer palette works particularly beautifully across Limestone Tiles, where tonal variation prevents neutral tiles from ever being flat, and they give you a little more to work with elsewhere in the room.
Pair these tones with aged timber and deep reds or simply use them to bring a little warmth into your space. Neutral certainly doesn't have to mean colourless anymore.

Perfectly Imperfect Tiles
For 2027, it's the little irregularities that I’ve become completely smitten with; gently uneven edges, rippled surfaces, and subtle shifts in colour from one tile to the next can make even a simple tiled wall feel special.

Much like fashion, where texture, layering and less polished pieces are having their moment, our homes seem to be loosening up too. Rippled glazes, uneven edges and subtle variations stop space from feeling overly manufactured, bringing depth, character and a sense of quiet luxury.
In kitchens and utilities, limestone-effect tiles bring subtle texture and variation to the floor. They feel a little less perfect, and that’s rather the point.

Unexpected Pairings
Perhaps my favourite thing about where interiors are heading is that everything doesn't have to match. It’s all about bringing things together that, on paper, sound like they shouldn’t work. Clashing colours, contrasting finishes and patterned tiles can all sit happily alongside one another, and the effect feels confident and instinctive rather than overly coordinated.

Iris Green
To keep things from feeling chaotic, find one common thread. It could be a shared colour, a similar undertone, or a repeating pattern. Get that balance right, and the clash is exactly what makes the room.

For 2027, we’re moving away from rooms built around one particular trend. Instead, it’s about letting different styles and eras sit happily alongside one another. And there’s longevity in that. Tiles are loved for their durability, and choosing more instinctively means creating spaces that feel personal, last longer, and ultimately create less waste.
If you’re planning a renovation and are on the hunt for the right stone or porcelain tiles for your space, we’re here to guide you. Take the trends you love, leave the ones you don’t, and create something beautifully yours.
